Elder William Borum Jr.

William Borum retired from Glen Cove Sewage and Power Plant as a certified Plant Operator. The guiding Hand of God has always been present, and in 1993 through the leading of the Holy Ghost, Deacon Borum and his wife relocated to South Carolina and joined Solomon Temple Church of God in Christ, under the Leadership of Superintendent Kirkland Ruth. He served as chairman of the trustee board and assistant to the Pastor. Deacon Borum accepted his call to the ministry and preached his initial sermon on April l, l995 at First Church of God in Christ, Hempstead, NY. Bishop Johnnie James Johnson, South Carolina Jurisdictional Prelate, ordained Minister Borum an Elder. He received his Associates of Theology in Ministry degree on 5/27/07, and later received Honorary Doctor of Divinity from Cathedral Bible College in 2009, and a Bachelors of Theology in Ministry in 2010.

Presently: Member of Jurisdictional Trustee Board . Member of Jasper County Northern Neighborhood Association, former chairman of Faith Medical Transportation.

Pastor Borum, a family man, is the husband of Carolyn Aiken Borum and the father of three children: daughter, Denise, foster daughter Deidre, and son, Wayne (deceased).


First Lady Carolyn Borum

First Lady Carolyn Borum is a licensed Evangelist Missionary in the Church of God in Christ. She is a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. In 1990 she was appointed District Missionary and served three years in the 2nd Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Eastern NY Church of God in Christ. She also served as certified Parent Educator 1990 - 2010 in Hampton District II, SC. She is currently serving as District Missionary in the South Carolina Jurisdiction Southern District
