Borum retired from Glen Cove Sewage and Power Plant as a certified
Plant Operator. The guiding Hand of God has always been present,
and in 1993 through the leading of the Holy Ghost, Deacon Borum
and his wife relocated to South Carolina and joined Solomon Temple
Church of God in Christ, under the Leadership of Superintendent
Kirkland Ruth. He served as chairman of the trustee board and assistant
to the Pastor. Deacon Borum accepted his call to the ministry and
preached his initial sermon April l, l995 at First Church of God
in Christ, Hempstead, NY. Bishop Johnnie James Johnson, our South
Carolina Jurisdictional Prelate, Ordained Minister Borum an Elder.
Received his associates of Theology in Ministry degree on 5/27/07.
Presently: Member of Jurisdictional Trustee Board Chairman of Faith
Medical Transportation Vice Chairman Hampton County Hunger food
initiative. Chaplin of First Steps (Hampton County). Member of Jasper
County Northern Neighborhood Association, member of 1890 Extension
of South Carolina State College.
Pastor Borum, a family man, is the husband of Carolyn Aiken Borum
and the father of three children: daughter, Denise, foster daughter
Deidre, and son, Wayne (deceased).


Carolyn Aiken Borum is a licensed Evangelist Missionary in the
Church of God in Christ. Retired Licensed Practical Nurse. 1990
appointed District Missionary and served three years in 2nd Ecclesiastical
Jurisdiction of Eastern NY COGIC. Currently serves as certified
Parent Educator. District missionary in the South CarolinaJurisdiction
Southern District. First Lady of Solomon Temple Church of God in
Christ, Robertville, SC
